My day depends on my morning coffee
Like millions of Americans, my day used to depend entirely on my morning coffee. For years, it was my absolute go-to for breaking through that early sluggishness and getting into a productive state of mind.
But over the last couple of years, things changed. I noticed a frustrating trend where my normal morning cup just wasn't enough anymore. The initial burst of daily alertness would wear off incredibly fast, leaving me struggling with mental fatigue, minor memory slips, and a complete lack of concentration as the hours rolled on. Trying to fix it by drinking *more* coffee didn't help—it just brought along jitters, anxious energy, and restless nights.
I honestly assumed this fading daily focus and cognitive stamina was just a standard, unavoidable part of modern stress or getting older.
